Allison is a Maine native practicing law in Portland, Maine and beyond. She has experience in family law litigation, appeals, and real estate transactions, as well as extensive experience in protection from abuse cases. She received her JD from the University of Maine School of Law, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a pro bono service award. While at Maine Law, Allison served as research editor for the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal, worked as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, and was a student liaison to the School's Wellness Committee. Allison was recognized for her pro bono work in an article in the November 14, 2022 issue of MaineBiz.
Before law school, Allison worked for several years in special education and social work. This background makes Allison particularly compassionate towards people facing the most difficult moments of their lives. Divorce, parental rights, abuse, and other litigation can challenge and drain you. The benefit of a compassionate legal service cannot be overstated. Allison prides herself on her ability to meet clients where they are in their journey and guide them towards its conclusion with care and empathy.
